Breast lift surgery is designed to re-lift the breast and shape it. Breast fall usually occurs with age and is caused by a prolapse of breast tissue and the loss of elasticity of the skin due to various factors such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, and weight loss. In this case, I will perform surgery to lift the chest and elevation of the nipple line in accordance with the patient's physique.
Breast lift surgery usually does not involve the treatment of the volume, so, in the case of a sagging breast, I will first examine the two components that affect the fall of the chest. The first is the volume of the breast and the second is the position of the nipple. In breast lift, I will usually only treat the breast's shell and the lift of the nipple without touching/adding to the volume. However, in cases where breast fall is also accompanied by loss of volume, I will also perform breast lift and enlargement for optimal outcome.
There are various methods for lifting the breasts depending on the size of the patient's breast fall:
- In the event of a slight fall, the common method I would prefer to perform for breast lift is by increasing it (using a silicone implant). This method is suitable for situations where the nipple is in a high place and almost in its natural location.
- In case the breast is more sagging and the nipple is below the undershaded multiplication area, there is the possibility of performing a slight breast lift by incision around the nipple only and the arrangement of the nipple line.
- If these are cases of a more severe fall, in which the nipple is very low, I will insert an incision that is drawn from the nipple towards the multiplication of the diaphal and the elevation of the nipples to a higher position.
In lifting surgery, the scar is usually around the corona in a way that is in a way that is so much like the shape of a lollipop similar to the other chest surgeries.
Common reasons for breast lift
Typically, women after giving birth or have experienced a fall in breasts over the years want to lift their breasts without adding volume. Also, women whose breast tissue is not large but medium and only the nipple line has fallen under the underwing fold, these women want to lift their breasts to the same level as they were before.

After surgery, the patient's chest will be raised and not sagging, the height and position of the nipples will be in the right place and adjusted according to the patient's physique and will give her a more natural and younger look.
What is the duration of surgery and whether outpatient days are required
Lifting surgery is a short treatment and no days of hospitalization are required; The patient was released to her home that day.
What is the recovery time?
The recovery time is relatively short and, like all other breast surgeries, the patient must wear a special lye for six weeks.
Are pre-preparations required before performing the treatment or surgery
In the case of a patient with a history of breast cancer in the family, she must be examined by a breast surgeon using an ultrasound to rule out breast cancer and make sure everything is normal.
If there is a time or season of the year recommended for such treatment/surgery
There's no particular season, the surgery is suitable for performing at any time.
Can it be breastfeed after surgery?
Usually if the patient could breastfeed before surgery, she could breastfeed after that. However, I always remind my patients that we need to take into account that in some cases there can be a decrease in the amount of milk.
